I have to say that the best concert I’ve ever seen was Blood Ulmer at the Bamboo Club in Toronto in 1986. He was with Calvin Weston and Jamaladeen Tacuma. I was sitting maybe 10 feet from the stage in this small club.
I’ve never seen Ornette in concert. I’m sure that would be amazing too though.

Jamaladeen is another one I’ve got on the list, but the only video I’ve found is another Ornette Coleman. Maybe someone can come up with a pointer…
