Why We Don’t Outsource Customer Support To Nepal
Reuters has an interesting bit about Royal Nepal Airlines sacrificing a goat in hopes of fixing technical problems with one of it’s Boeing 757 jet liners, to appease the Hindu Sky God Akash Bharaib. Think about that the next time you’re redirected to the other side of the world for tech support by your computer vendor so you can talk to “Bob” in Timbuktu.

This is certainly more picturesque than American businesspeople praying for success, but I’m not sure that it is, at heart, all that different…
Now excuse me while I go pay a tribute to the flying spaghetti monster!
Good point…I honestly don’t mind if you sacrifice a goat, as long as you also replace the parts of the jet that are broken.
