No bike helmet? Lose your wheels – The Boston Globe

Holliston, MA has decided they’re no longer going to tolerate gangs of helmet-less riders on their streets.  From this point forward, if you’re caught without a helmet in Holliston and you’re on a bike, you lose the bike.

I’d suggest they should also grab the helmet, as their town council surely has need of lots of helmets.  I’ll forgo the obvious jokes about brain injury as that would be unfair to those who’ve legitimately suffered that horrid fate.

And if you don’t like this rule, just wait to see what they confiscate if they catch you having unprotected sex.
