Friday Music Video: Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
Sean Polay had a rave review of their show from last Friday night, so I thought it was about time I ran a video from my favorite new performer. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are the one group my whole family can agree on. She’s got the voice, the lyrics, the band is utterly bad ass, and she’s got the Hammond B3 goodness I crave. This cut is “Stop the Bus” one of my personal favorites, and according to Sean, the real show stopper from the other evening. This version was recorded at the Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT. on New Year’s Eve of this year.

The friend that my wife and I went with is in total agreement with you regarding the family-appeal of GPN. He, his wife and two daughters are huge fans. While we’ve not yet converted all of our three boys, our youngest, Benjamin, the hardest rocker of the bunch, is a total Potter devotee.
Give me Grace Potter over any kids band or Disney artist any day!
